Sidewinder transforming into a robot

Xendrome is after destroying all music in the world, Why? It will be reveled in the next episode
They send their foot Soldiers to destroy music stores and all forms of music entertainment in the world.
Captain Play is there to save the day.

He along with his sidekick Violet destroy all Xendrome’s evil plans with weapons made up of music elements.
He also has a car that converts into a robot called SIDEWINDER.

My Experience on this project

First of All I am thankfull to Almighty Allah that we(Play Team) did this project almost on time.

I also thankful to Mr. Aamir Shah that he had included me in this project.

A little introduction to our team, (in my point of view)

Jacob Edwin, I like that man because he has got lot of talent, energy and he really love character modeling, rigging, and animation. I like his robot fighting shots, and one in that hero robot playing guitar. The most difficult shot were animated by Jacob is robot transformation.  I enjoy work with this guy. He is very co-operative and also the good asset of our team.

Kashif Khan, the best colleague of mine. He is very talented and has good observation. I like his animation and rendering of that guy.  In this project he has done major shots. I like his shot in which hero put off his Eye Glasses. He is good animator.

Aamir Shah, Producer of  Saviors of Music, humble, nice but strict on rules. Which is sometimes “Oh O”…. but ok. Nice to work with him but also there is come a “BUT”. I think that is because of burden which is on his shoulder and as everyone know we animators are very moody, I think….

I was involved in this project April 27th, 2009. There are most of the part of animation was done but I found that there is something missing and that was “project management”.  Jacob Edwin,  Kashif Khan and I have decided to complete the 1st phase called “Blocking”. We have finished blocking 4th of May 2009, and start the 2nd phase “Rendering”.

In this phase Jacob Edwin and I done Lighting and rendering. The good thing was that team choosed the “Cebas – Final Render”, and really it is good choice indeed. For, Character outline we had try mentalRay but that took too much time to render and not perfect crisp lines. Other hand, Final Render did this almost on fly. Another difficulty we face in Rendering is “HD” size. We had render this project in HD (1280x 720). Why we choose this, this is also a good question. Aamir Shah, Kashif and Jacob Edwin decided this because of whenever we go to compositing, if we used old PAL 720, there were not much detail even outlines of characters are not good enough. In HD, There are lot of details and that took lot more time than PAL 720 frame.

5181 frames were composites. lot more than that had rendered.

As you guys know that it was done in Play TV Channel so there are also parallel projects were done by this team and it must be a great effort from every team member.
